Fred Waring, although not the inventor, was the man who perfected the blender. During the late 60's, design and engineering breakthroughs by Waring led to the creation of a more versatile blender that was more efficient and widely affordable. Waring's vision lives on in the company that bares his name, and has since gained an international presence, not only for blenders, but also for a range of culinary appliances that can be found in kitchens all over the world.
